Frequently Asked Questions

You Ask. We Answer.

1. What do the prices in red and black mean?

The black price is the regular retail price without insurance coverage. The red price is the ESTIMATED price that you will pay using Medicare or your private insurance. Please remember that your deductible, co-pays, or other factors may affect your out of pocket expense. Call us for full details or if you have questions.

2. How do I know if it is covered?

Generally, Medicare and many private insurances cover vacuum therapy devices with a diagnosis of organic impotence (ICD-9 607.84). Other diagnoses may also qualify for coverage, please call for details. If you are on Medicaid, generally vacuum therapy devices are not a covered item.

3. How do I get a prescription?

Fill out our Medicare Patient form (link) and we will obtain the prescription for you. You may also call our office and give your information to one of our customer service specialists.

4. What is the difference between Prescription grade and Over the Counter systems?

Prescription devices are made to an extremely high level of quality, have a longer warranty, dedicated patient training lines with counselors available 24/7, access to special discounts on components, and may even include a buy back program for certain systems. Over the counter systems only have a 90 day to 1 year warranty, no access to special pricing on components, and do not have free 24/7 device training available. They also have no buy back options.
